11th Annual GFBA Member Conference Guinea Fest '10 ~ March 26 - 28

The 11th Annual GFBA Conference, otherwise known as Guinea Fest, will be held at The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. The convention registration fee is $25 per person.

The Department of Poultry Science at UARK is a recognized leader in poultry research and training. Speakers from UARK will include Dr. Fred Dustan Clark, Dr. Bramwell and Dr. Watkins

The program promises to be very educational, interesting and fun. Lectures will be presented on disease, parasite control, anatomy, nutrition as well as embryo development. Lab sessions are not definite at this time.

1:00 P.M. Tour of the Poultry Science Department, University of Arkansas. We will meet Dr. Clark at the Whitaker Arena then follow him to the Poultry Science Department.

Program today is at our hotel Conference Room.

9:00 A.M.-9:30 A.M. Look at Display Tables and Purchase some Goodies. Take Home Literature and Brochures.

9:30 A.M.-10:30 A.M.  Dana Manchester, owner of Shady Hollow Game Bird Hatchery will talk about Guinea Fowl colors and genetics and with a question and answer session. Bring photos of your flock for color identification!
